Several years ago, Clanton, Mississippi lawyer, Mack Stafford (Law Offices of Jacob McKinley Stafford, LLC) started a class action suit against a chainsaw company, Tinzo, for defects that maimed four clients.
Mack promised his clients a large payout…..then for three years…..nothing happened.
A phone call with a lawyer from New York City ended with the promise of $5 million to settle the Tinzo lawsuit as long as everything remained a secret.
Mack jumped at the chance and promptly:
Got rip roaring drunk
Fired his Secretary
Decided not to contest his wife’s divorce proceedings
Filed for bankruptcy
