Genre: Thriller
Reacher has parked his rental van outside of a music store adjacent to a small college. The back doors of the van are open as he prepares to unload supplies for the store.
He has his gun, a Colt Anaconda that is 13 inches long and weighs four pounds, in his belt like he always does.
Looking around (like he always does) he notices some unusual activity in and around the college.
An old pickup truck with shady characters in it idling near the gate, an older plainclothes cop getting out of his unmarked police car, a limo inside the college picking up a teenage boy. The drivers look more like bodyguards than limo drivers.
On high alert, Jack Reacher was ready when the shit hit the fan: The kid was being kidnapped.
Reacher jumped into action…..killed several people…including the cop (oh, shit)….grabbed the kid and drove him to safety.
The grateful kid, Richard Beck, asked Reacher to drive him home to Maine where his parents will certainly welcome him with open arms.
He did,
The parents were very grateful,
And Reacher stayed the night.
In his room, Reacher pulled off his shoe, and……

“Persuader” is a fast, action-packed thriller with plenty of spies, killing, and murder….some of it pretty gory. But all along…..things are not what they seem. The ending is breathtaking….so hold your breath so you don’t lose it.
