XYZ Medical is proud of their customer service.
In their offices, they give you a token which you can place in one of two boxes near the door: Approve or Disapprove (of their service).
Over the past 5 years, XYZ has had a 100% approval rating. Astounding, considering the long lines, arrogant receptionists, and even more arrogant Doctors and Nurses.
Why 100% approval? Ah, let me tell you what investigators discovered.
The “Disapprove” box at XYZ Medical was booby trapped with an acid that quickly dissolved the token, and a dispersant toxin for the dropee. As the token passed the sensor, the token disappeared and a very brief, virtually invisible, spray of toxin was aimed at the head of the dropee. Only a trace amount needed to be breathed in for it to take effect, and the small amount of moisture could easily be mistaken for a running nose (they are sick after all).
For the next 7 days, the person experienced what could be a head cold. Not severe enough to visit the doctor (I mean who would want to go back to XYZ if they did not have to), but, on the 8th day….DEAD.
Moral: Be careful what you disapprove of.
