Book Review: “High Five” by Janet Evanovich

Genre: Mystery / Thriller

New Jersey Bounty Hunter Stephanie Plum has been assigned to pick up Randy Briggs on a failure to appear charge.

Stephanie noted his address and looked at his picture. She decided it would be an easy arrest.

Arriving at Brigg’s residence she was shocked to find out he was a little person, but, at the same time figured she might be right about the easy arrest.

What she found out was that Briggs was smart, tenacious, and tough.

As he easily fled.

Arriving at home without an arrest Stephanie’s mom asked her to look into her Uncle Fred’s disappearance.

She agreed but found herself embroiled in murder and mayhem.

As the body count increases…..

Oh, to find out what happens you can read this terrific book!

“High Five” is, so far, the best of the Stephanie Plum series. Morelli and Stephanie hook up again and Ranger is waiting in the wings.

Rex is happy as can be in his empty soup can, and Grandma is having fun viewing a great number of bodies at the funeral home.

I LOVED it.
