3.5-Watertowers TracyReaderDad Book Reviews(Will Robie and the Camel Club)

Oliver Stone is headed to the bank before it closes on a Saturday.

He notices someone following him, but is unconcerned since there are very few people in the world who can match his skills. Little does he know that the person following him is Will Robie, Gov’t assassin, and he is one of those people.

After entering the bank, they and several others (customers and bank employees) are taken hostage during a bank robbery. The security guard is killed. Handcuffed together, Oliver  and Will work together (Oliver suspects he knows who Will works for) to figure out what is happening (an assassination attempt, not a bank robbery) and Oliver gets the rest of the Camel Club involved.

Do they stop the assassination?  Why was Robie following Stone?  Do they survive?  To find out, you will have to read the 65 page short story.

“Bullseye” is a short story and the action is necessarily compressed which weakens the story just a bit. But….it is still an interesting and entertaining read especially since we have not heard from the Camel Club in a while.  I love the meeting of the two characters, now we need the Camel Club and King & Maxwell to hook up.  🙂
