Book Review: “Career of Evil” by Robert Galbraith

Genre: Thriller

Cormoran Strike has taken Robin Ellacot on as his “partner” in the private investigating small business he opened a few years ago. After some success solving a couple of high visibility crimes, business has slowed and now Strike and Robin have only two clients.

And, as it turns out, one enemy.

One day a package was delivered to Robin, and when she opened it she was shocked to find…..

A human leg!

That leg had the effect of slowing business even more……as the calls stopped completely.

Strike had a few suspects in mind, and told the police who they might be: Whittaker (his ex-step father), Laing (an ex-soldier that Strike put away for 10 years), and Brockbank (another ex-soldier that Strike put away and hit so hard Brockbank claimed brain damage).

Before more could be done, more young women were murdered and chopped up.

And next on the killers list…..

Is Robin.

To see what happens, you will have to read the book.

“Career of Evil” is an absolutely enthralling read by one of the worlds most famous authors who seems to like ears being chopped off and the word conjuring. Robert Galbraith. 😉
