“Firestorm” is an ARC sent to me by the publishers. It is due in “stores” in May 2018.
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
A year after the events in “The Burning Man”, serial killer, Eric, has returned.
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
Eric is a serial killer who has taken the year off to transform his looks and renew his thirst for murder and revenge.
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
Eric sends letters of hate to his victims from the first book, including FBI Forensic Pathologist Dr. Catherine “Cat” Powers. Eric kidnapped Cat’s son and nearly killed them both (I have not read book one) but somehow all three survived his horror.
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
As Eric starts on his new killing spree, and the body count rises, Cat, once again, finds herself 3,000 miles from home in Orange County CA working with LAPD detective Jim McGregor to track down Eric…….and stop him once and for all.
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
Eric has a new boyfriend. David is the Fire Chief of the Anaheim Fire Department. David loves setting fires on his days off, and now that the Santa Ana winds are active, David is starting fires to his hearts content. And, now, he is happy that his fires are of such ferocity that they have started killing people.
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
To see what happens, you will have to read the book. 🙂
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
“Firestorm” is brutal, graphic, and sexual. It is a horrifying thrill ride where you are not sure you can survive the carnage. Many characters in the book don’t, so make sure your heart is strong before reading.
Eric and David are deranged psychopaths.
That said: I’m not sure if you noticed the phrase “Eric and David are deranged psychopaths” in this book review? Well……repetition is good, to a point. Over that point, it becomes tedious and the reader (maybe it’s just me?) can grow tired, or worse, irritated. The only thing that I did not like in this book was that kind of repetition…….Especially, when the words around those oft repeated phrases beautifully describe Eric and David’s demented psyches on their own.
