Book Review: “Long Shadows” by David Baldacci

Genre: Thriller

This is book #7 in the Memory Man (Amos Decker) series.

FBI Consultant Amos Decker is not having a good day.

A letter from the memory institute let Amos know that his memory might be changing in the near future (something about lesions), his first partner as a cop, Mary Lancaster, has died, his long-time FBI partner, Alex Jamison, has moved to New York, and a new partner has been assigned: Frederica White.

Luckily Frederica has talked to Alex and has some insight into Amos’s quirks as they are assigned a particularly difficult assignment in Florida.

A judge there has been murdered and the private security guard protecting her is dead from gunshot wounds. And more bodies are stacking up.

Heading to Florida, the new partners find themselves in mortal danger, and…

Oh, to find out what happens you will have to read the book. 🙂

“Long Shadows” is a twisty turny thriller with a growing body count, an unhappy local FBI agent, multiple suspects in the judge’s murder, foreign currency, an FBI conspiracy, and….danger.

A few more from David Baldacci….
