Book Review: “Mistaken Identity” by Lisa Scottoline

Genre: Thriller

Bennie Rosato (Defense Attorney) was summoned to the prison to meet with a potential client.

This client has been jailed for a year, accused of killing her boyfriend….. a cop…..with zero progress being made on her behalf by her old attorneys.

Her trial is next week!

Bennie wants to delay the trial, but, the Judge in charge of the trial refuses. In fact, every legal turn that Bennie makes is stifled by that same Judge, and the police, and the DA, and……

Something stinks, but, Bennie has no time to spend on that, she needs to prepare for the trial, soooooo, getting her two best associates to help, Mary DiNunzio and Judy Carrier, Rosato & Associates is on the Connolly murder case.

But first…..it’s time for Bennie to meet Alice Connolly, and, when she arrives in the prison……what she sees is…….herself looking back at her!

Yikes!

“Mistaken Identity” is the 4th book in the Rosato & Associates series and is a fun, fast, thriller from page 1 to page 561…..with a twist at the end that will knock your socks off.

Whew!
