Book Review: “Ultimate Power” by Stephen Frey

Genre: Thriller

A.J. Falcon is a 31 year old investment banker at the huge wall street firm: Sutton & Company.

He is sitting in the office on the 47th floor wondering if he will get what he thinks he is going to get…..a partnership.

Since no one under age 40 has gotten that, he doubts he is right, but, Falcon is not used to being wrong.

Running a multi-billion dollar inventment portfolio, Falcon is a Wall Street superstar and he is in great demand.

Well…..Falcon becomes partner….but is given a whispered warning by a trusted colleague, Michael Mattix:

“Tonight the real work begins, but, be careful while you do it, VERY careful, I can’t stress that enough”.

Not knowing what that means…..

Falcon is about to find out as his world changes forever, the country is on the verge of a military takeover (a coup), race riots erupt throughout the country, then, as all hell is breaking loose…..

Falcon meets Red Cell Seven leader, Troy Jensen and…..

Oh to find out what happens you will have to read the book. 🙂

“Ultimate Power” is the terrific thriller by Stephen Frey. Fast, action-packed, intrigue from page 1 to the very last word.

Typical Frey.

BUT….it was published in 2018 with no follow-up. 😦

NOTE: Stephen Frey was one of the first authors I started reading way back when books were chisled in stone. Vince Flynn, Perri O’Shaughnessy, John Grisham, David Baldacci, Barry Eisler, and Brad Meltzer were the others…..the rest is history. 🙂

More Stephen Frey…..
