Book Review: “Denied Access” by Vince Flynn / Don Bentley

Genre: Thriller

Once again, I am honored to be a Mitch Rapp Ambassador.

“Denied Access” will be in “stores” September 30, 2025. But you can pre-order it now at your favorite book store. 🙂

“Denied Access” is designed to be the third book in the “American Assassin” prequel series where a young Mitch Rapp is only a couple of years into his journey.

As such, it introduces background information on Mitch Rapp and three of the most important people in his early life as a covert operative / assassin: Thomas Stansfield, Irene Kennedy, and Stan Hurley.

Mitch is trying to keep his current girlfriend, Greta, alive after her grandfather received the head of an old colleague, in a box, with the promise that the next head will be Greta’s…..

Thomas Stansfield, Acting Director of the CIA, had horrible experiences (and decisions to make) in WWII and the current trouble he is having is with a short-sighted Congress as he seeks the nomination to become the full-time CIA director…..

Irene Kennedy is the head of the top secret “Orion” project in the CIA of which Mitch Rapp is the newest, and potentially most deadly, member. Irene is the most trusted person in Stansfield’s life and when he needs someone to straighten out the CIA’s Moscow Station, he chooses Irene….

Stan Hurley is picking up his rough and gruff spy persona by helping Mitch, Thomas, and Irene thwart Russian efforts to…..

Then…..

All hell breaks out, and….

Oh, you’ll need to read the book to see what happens. 🙂

“Denied Access” is a terrific, fast-paced, Mitch Rapp prequel filled with intrigue, action, and, ultimately, a body count that only a born assassin can leave behind.

More Mitch Rapp…..
