Book Review: “Capture or Kill” by Vince Flynn / Don Bentley

Genre: Thriller

I am honored to have been selected as a Mitch Rapp Ambassador once again this year!

The elite Iranian Qud forces are planning a major attack on the U.S. and the only people who can stop them is an old “friend”, Azad Ashani, and Mitch Rapp.

Secondarily, the window to the real-life events of May 2, 2011, is closing fast and Mitch is needed to ensure the person of interest is where analysts think he is.

And then take out a Qud forces defense…..before…..

Oh, to see what happens, you will have to read the book. 😉

“Capture or Kill” is a fun, fast, read, with an explosive, real-world conclusion.

I mean…who knew Mitch Rapp was involved?

Set in April and May 2011 (three years after the horrific events in Extreme Measures). Mitch is younger (early 40’s) with no family, more cocky, and more dangerous / fearsome as the “angel of death” than he is now.

The nostalgia, for me, is palpable as Irene Kennedy, Stan Hurley, Thomas Stansfield, Mike Nash, Marcus Drummond, and President Alexander are either still active / alive or are mentioned regularly.

My only issue is that the over-arching thread that connects the beginning of the book to the conclusion is a somewhat confusing maze of code names, acronyms, locations, alliances, and countries that is difficult to follow…..

That said….the author’s description of each individual engagement is totally engaging.

Welcome to the world of Mitch Rapp, Don! 🙂

More Vince Flynn, Kyle Mills, and Don Bentley…..
