MaiStoryBook writes:
“Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal challenging Llano County, Texas’s removal of 17 books from its public libraries. Amongst these books were topics that addressed race, gender identity, and puberty. By refusing to take up the case, the Court allowed a Fifth Circuit ruling to stand, effectively granting local governments across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi broader authority to remove books from public library shelves based on viewpoint. This decision marks a troubling moment for the freedom to read and sets a precedent that could encourage similar censorship efforts nationwide.”

My opinion:
When books are BANNED or BURNED it harkens to a dictatorship that is much more comfortable with “subjects” that are not educated and will not question their “authority”.
Not to mention the 1st amendment.
No Kings!
